By introducing a system to manage our health, safety and environment we strive to: • Minimize the environmental impact of our activities • Meet our employees’ and customers' needs in an environmentally sound and sustainable manner.
Designbrokers will • Ensure compliance with the relevant international and local environmental laws and bylaws • Establish health and safety and environmental objectives to ensure continuous improvements in these areas • Ensure all employees are aware of Designbrokers environmental policy and are prepared to enforce it • Prevent pollution and other negative effects on the environment • Optimize resource use through recycling • Improve the production process to generate fewer emissions and less waste • Develop, manufacture and market products that do not pose serious risk to humans, animals and the environment, when and where economically and technologically viable • Provide information on the safe use and disposal of our products • Participate in drafting laws and influence legislation in the relevant areas, where and when appropriate • Inform clients and staff of our activities relating to health, safety and environmental issues
